Finance Track Mentor - Jacob Alvarado (he/him/él)

Jacob Alvarado is a sophomore in Benjamin Franklin College originally from Ridgewood, NJ. He is majoring in Economics with a certificate in Data Science. He joined Sube in the fall of his sophomore year to become more involved with the Hispanic community on campus. Sube has allowed him to meet like-minded people from all over the world with a wide range of interests yet all with a common background. It has also provided him with a lot of guidance in terms of career paths, and general mentorship from upperclassmen. On-campus, he’s also a leader for FOOT, a Project Manager for Yale Net Impact, involved in Simplex Sciences, and a peer tutor for the Economics department.

This past summer and fall semester he worked as a Private Equity Intern for the Atlas Group. This upcoming summer he will be working at Morgan Stanley in their Wealth Management Division. In his free time, Jacob likes to play Super Smash Bros. with his suitemates, run, workout, and read.
